Report a Controller Compatibility Issue

If your controller isn't being detected by our tester, or if the readings seem incorrect, please include the following details in your email so we can investigate and fix it:

• The exact model of your controller (e.g., PS5 DualSense CFI-ZCT1W, Xbox Series X controller, Joy-Con (L) HAC-015).
• The browser and version you are using (e.g., Chrome 122, Firefox 123, Edge 121).
• Your operating system (Windows 11, macOS Sonoma, Ubuntu 22.04, etc.).
• Whether you are connected via USB or Bluetooth.
• Any error messages or unexpected behavior you observed.

General Frequently Asked Questions

Does the tool work on my device?

Our tester uses the Web Gamepad API, which is supported on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari on desktop computers. Mobile browser support is limited and varies by device. For best results, use a desktop or laptop computer with a wired (USB) or Bluetooth controller connection.

Why isn't my controller being detected?

Controllers must be activated before the Gamepad API can detect them. After connecting your controller, press any button (the PS button, Xbox button, A/X/Start, etc.) to register it with the browser. If it still doesn't appear, try a different USB port or reconnect via Bluetooth. Some third-party controllers may not be fully compatible with the Gamepad API.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All gamepad data is processed entirely within your browser. We never collect, transmit, or store your controller's axis values or button inputs. The tool reads data locally and displays it on screen — that's it. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
