Does the tool work on my device?

Our tester uses the Web Gamepad API, which is supported on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari on desktop computers. Mobile browser support is limited and varies by device. For best results, use a desktop or laptop computer with a wired (USB) or Bluetooth controller connection.

Why isn't my controller being detected?

Controllers must be activated before the Gamepad API can detect them. After connecting your controller, press any button (the PS button, Xbox button, A/X/Start, etc.) to register it with the browser. If it still doesn't appear, try a different USB port or reconnect via Bluetooth. Some third-party controllers may not be fully compatible with the Gamepad API.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All gamepad data is processed entirely within your browser. We never collect, transmit, or store your controller's axis values or button inputs. The tool reads data locally and displays it on screen — that's it. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
